Consultation prog on quality education held

United College, Lambung, in col laboration with Naga Students' Union, Chandel (NSUC), on Monday organised a one-day consultation and interaction programme focused on enhancing the quality of education in the area.
The programme held at the college s Science Seminar Hall, brought together educators and student leaders to discuss and work out strategy on improvement of educational standards.
United College principal Dr Bd Thumdal emphasised the importance of quality education in his address apart from highlighting the college's continuous efforts, alongside its teaching and non-teaching staff, to uplift the educational system.
"It's vital for every individual in the district to play their role in enhancing edu cation.
Teachers, students, and student bodies must all contribute to this mission," he maintained.
NSUC president RI Elly Anal called for greater commitment from the college staff, and urged them to be proactive in their pursuit of quality education.
The president also stressed the importance of strict attendance policies to ensure students receive a consistent and effective learning experience.
The event also featured contributions from vice-principal Rd Kanthung, LKK president Db Johny, and ALT GHQ president Bd Ningwar.
They also echoed the need for concerted efforts to deliver quality education, encouraging the college staff to strive for excellence.
The event concluded with a resolution for united and steadfast efforts to provide quality and value-based education to enhance the educational landscape in Chandel district.
