Imphal, January 15 2025: The inauguration function of a two-day teachers' training programme on 'Pearl Culture, Induced Breeding in Fish and Mushroom cultivation' jointly organised by GP Women's College, Dhanamanjuri University and Directorate of SCERT was held on Tuesday at GP Women's College central hall with SCERT director Aheibam Romel Singh as chief guest, College principal Hijam Romi Devi as functional president and DMU School of Life Sciences dean Prof Kh Rajmani Singh as guest of honour.

Speaking at the programme, director Aheibam opined that inclusion of skill enhancement courses in undergraduate courses under the National Education Policy, 2020 will be of great benefit for the students, and exuded confidence that the training programme will help promote self-employment among the youth.
