Blood donation camp organised in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, August 13 2024: Assam Rifles in collaboration with district hospital, Tamenglong, organised a Blood Donation Camp on Tuesday with assistance of a team of staff from the district hospital.

The camp saw active participation of personnel of security forces, medical fraternity and civilian volunteers mostly women of Tamenglong and adjacent villages.

The objective of the camp was not only collection of blood for the needy but also to inspire the current generation ioin such a noble campaign and lend a helping hand to the society.

The donated units were collected by the medical team of district hospital, Tamenglong.

A total of 100 units of blood were collected from the volunteers, which will be used for the welfare of locals in dire need of blood for their ongoing treatment.
