MITTACI celebrates 42nd foundation day

Imphal, July 06 2024: Meetei Indigenous Thang-Ta Cultural Institute (MITTACI), Kongba celebrated its 42nd foundation day at its Kongba Kshetri Leikai premises on Saturday.

The celebration was attended by national team leader Risikesh Konthoujam, theatre and culture activist Loitongbam Brajamohon, MITTACI director Kh Surchandra and Manipur Cultural University assistant professor G Bisheshwori among others.

As part of the celebration, floral tributes were offered to the portraits of deceased MITTACI teachers and also seniors of Kongba Kshetri Leikai, who played pivotal role in promoting the culture of the state.

Later, Hari Riha', a new classical dance production of the Institute, was presented.
