In line with its Heirok-Wangjing River Rejuvenation Campaign, the organisation recently collected single-use plastic waste from households from Heirok to Wangjing.

He highlighted the organisation's partnerships with various clubs including HDC, YDO, DLC, EBC, and Meira Paibi Lups in executing the river rejuvenation programme.
Under this initiative, weekly collections of household plastic waste have been conducted, with the materials subsequently delivered to Ashok Traders for recycling.
He urged the community to refrain from irresponsible disposal of plastic waste and instead advocated proper recycling methods.
By doing so, he stressed, drainages and water bodies can be kept clean, mitigating pollution risks.
Additionally, he emphasised the potential of converting household waste into bio-fertilisers as a sustainable solution.
He also called for public support in the organisation's ongoing river rejuvenation campaign, underscoring the collective responsibility in safeguarding the environment for future generations.
