RIMS notifies detour route from Jan 3

Imphal, December 31 2024: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), has announced that; starting January 3, 2025, the road from the western junction of the Radiation Oncology Department (Cancer Ward) to the Gynaecology OPD will be a one-way route.

In a release, RIMS informed that the traffic arrangement will remain in force for 15 days during which the road will undergo necessary repairs.

During this period, no vehicles would be allowed to exit from the Gynaecology OPD towards the Cancer Ward.

Instead, an alternate exit route will be provided, which will lead towards Bank of Baroda road near the football ground and continue towards Gymkhana road.

This change applies to all two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles, it mentioned.

RIMS authorities requested all patients, visitors, and staff members to adhere to this temporary traffic arrangement to ensure smooth movement and safety during the repair period.
