AdTU faculty members ranked among world's top 2 pc scientists

Assam Down Town University (AdtU) has announced that two of its faculty members, professor and dean of the faculty of Pharmaceutical Science Dr Saikat Sen, and professor and dean of the faculty of engineering Dr TVVL N Rao, have been ranked among the world's top 2 per cent scientists, according to Stanford University's 2024 ranking, published by Elsevier.
Informing this, a statement of the university said that the international recognition highlights the contributions of Dr Sen and Dr Rao in their respective fields, reflecting the University's commitment to fostering research excellence.
Their work has made significant advancements in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences and engineering, further elevating the institution's reputation globally.
AdtU's vice-chancellor, Dr Prof NG Talukdar, expressed his pride, stating, "We are incredibly proud of Dr Saikat Sen and Dr TV VLN Rao for this well-deserved recognition.
Their achievements underscore the quality of education and research at AdtU, solidifying our standing on the global academic stage" .
The Stanford University ranking assesses scientists based on various metrics, including research impact and citation counts, placing both professors among an elite group of global scholars.
