Imphal, February 26 2025: Ng Mani College Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with Manipur University (MU) organised a one day workshop on "Enhancing Learning through SWAYAM: A Mentorship and Course Guidance Workshop" at the college, here on Wednesday.

The workshop was attended by MU registrar professor W Chandbabu Singh as the chief guest, SWAYAM coordinator professor H Basantakumar Singh as the guest of honour, and Ng Mani College principal Dr W Jibankumar Singh as the president, while MU SWAYAM MOOCs, EMMRC project coordinator Dr Chandam Betholia and Ng Mani College Governing Body chairman Ngangkham Chaoba Singh were the special invitees.

Professor H Basantakumar and Dr Betholia, who were also the resource persons, delivered lectures on "Role and responsibilities of SWAYAM coordinators and mentors in the integration of SWAYAM courses in the undergraduate curriculum" and "MOOCs and their relevance in present education system", respectively.

Their talks also delved into the importance of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in modern education and encouraged the educators to effectively implement SWAYAM courses.

The workshop had the participation of faculty members from 11 colleges, alongside faculties and students of Ng Mani College.
