Koireng-led UNLF condoles demise of Ibotombi Khuman

The proscribed Koireng-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has expressed deep condolences on the untimely demise of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak chairman 'Oja' Heikrujam Ibotombi Khuman, also known as Ngamdairen Khuman, and shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family, friends and well-wishers.
In a condolence note, the UNLF said PREPAK 'Oja' Ibotombi joined revolutionary movement from a very young age in 1969 and served jail time in Bangladesh.
He shouldered immense responsibilities for PREPAK since its inception in 1977, it recalled and remembered him as "a man of commitment, dedicated to revolutionary movement and unselfish' .
"Late Oja Ibotombi took part in many movements launched by the people from time to time and travelled throughout hills and valley to spread the spirit of patriotism while he was alive.
His demise has left a huge void for PREPAK which will be hard to fill, " said the condolence note.
