IIIT Senapati holds convocation ceremony

Imphal, April 19 2025: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Senapati, Manipur marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its 4th Convocation on Saturday at its city campus in Mantripukhri, Imphal.

The ceremony was graced by Prof Krishna Baskar, Director, IDT Senapati, Manipur and Dr G Satheesh Reddy, honorary advisor to Government of Andhra Pradesh and former Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman of DRDO, Government of India as the president & chief guest respectively.

Addressing the gathering, Dr G Satheesh Reddy extended his greetings to the faculty, guests and the graduating students who have scaled through the hurdles and crucibles of academic rigors.

"The State of Manipur, the jewel among States, holds a special place in the hearts of all Indians.

Many distinguished personalities of this State have won laurels for themselves and for the country, and I am proud to be with you all today, on this special occasion", he added.

He also encouraged the graduating students to contribute meaningfully to the Nation and the world through innovation, integrity, and dedication.

"The future of this great Nation is in your hands, you hold the key to tomorrow.

Steer our country with your ingenious capabilities and prove that we are second to none.

The country is looking forward to all of you.

Rise and write your own future", asserted Dr G Satheesh Reddy.

During the ceremony, degree certificates and gold medals were conferred to the graduating students of HIT Senapati, Manipur.

Members of the Governing Body, Senate, Board of Studies, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty, staff, invited guests and parents of the graduating students were also present at the event.
