Imphal, March 19 2023: Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup (MKPAL) elected its new executives on Sunday.

A meeting of the Lup was held at GM hall here and unanimously elected Oinam Bilashini and Yumnam Ibeyaima as president and general secretary respectively.

The newly elected general secretary Yumnam Ibeyaima appealed to the members of the organisation formed under the supervision of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur to strictly abide by the rules of the organisation and work together.

The meeting also minutely discussed about the roles to be played by the organisation.

Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur president Longjam Memchoubi urged the people to join hands and work together for upholding the identity of Khwairamband Keithel, which is the largest women's market in the world.

She acknowledged the roles of women in improving economy as well as in resolving different issues of the state from time to time.
