Pastors' council issues no-bandh appeal

Senapati, September 10 2024: Ahead of its Pastors' Council Meeting and Conference, the Pastors' Council of Liangmai Naga Baptist Association (M) has urged that no bandh or blockade be called from September 24 to 26 for smooth conduct of the conference at Gaililong Baptist Church in Tamei (Namraining).

In a statement issued Tuesday, Rev M Liangpibou, chairman of Pastors' Council LNBA, and Rev IQ Wishingdon, secretary, informed that delegates from various districts would be traveling for the event.

They appealed for support from fellow citizens, government agencies, and civil organisations to prevent any disruptions, ensuring the conference's success.

The council also prayed for peace and reconciliation in the state, seeking cooperation from all stakeholders.

The LNBA (M) Pastors' Council Meeting and Conference, to be held under the theme "Soul Care Minister," will feature Rev Dr Tunchapbou SP, principal ITS, as the preacher while Rev Dr Nkhinlakbou Ringkangmai, president DITM, and Rev Dr Alungbou Newmai, executive secretary LNBA (M), will serve as resource persons.

Artiste Wigiangliu Daimai will also perform during the event.
