Noney, February 10 2025: As part of the ongo ing Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare Awareness Month, Noney Veterinary Hospital, under the District Veterinary Office, Tamenglong, organised an animal health camp and free vaccination drive at various villages in the Noney Sub-division on Monday in collaboration with mobile veterinary unit (MVU).

The camp aim to raise awareness among farmers about animal health and provide necessary treatment to their livestock.

Veterinary officers Dr G Poulinlu and Dr Dimdim distributed medicines, anthelmintic, feed supplements, mineral mixtures and vitamins to the attendees besides advising the farmers on the importance of routine deworming, vaccination and feeding supplemental mineral-vitamin mixtures to improve their animals' overall health and nutrient status.

A total of 80 animals were vaccinated while 25 others received treatment during the camp.
