New infrastructures of RIMS inaugurated

Imphal, September 09 2022: A newly constructed departmental store, PAC & Pain Management Clinic elevator constructed near OT Complex and a Utility Block were inaugurated by RIMS director Dr A Santa Singh on Friday.

The director stated that by inaugurating these new facilities, the institute will be able to serve better the needs of patients and employees.

Many more facilities are lined up for inauguration in the coming days, said the director in his brief address at the inauguration programme.

According to RIMS media advisor N Phillip Singh, the newly constructed elevator will enable patients to move comfortably from the Ground Floor to 1st Floor of OT Block.

Patients and staff will be benefited from this Utility Block.

Many departmental stores, pharmacy stalls (to sell generic medicine), fruit stalls, barber and other facilities will be available in the Utility Block, it said.

The inaugural function was also attended by RIMS medical superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh, head of Obst and Gynaecology Department Prof M Rameswar Singh, head of various departments, faculty members, chief accounts officer/financial advisor, consultant (Civil), consultant (Hospital Administration), official, staff and invitees.
