No water supply in 'Thangmeiband'

Imphal, February 06 2025: Areas of Thangmeiband AC covered by Kangla Water Treatment Plant will not receive water supply owing to the on going construction of the Khoyathong culvert, PHED Water Supply Maintenance Division no 1 executive engineer has informed.

As per the notice, the main pipe of Kangla Water Treatment Plant has been dismantled due to the on-going expansion and construction of the Khoyathong culvert.

As such, there will no supply in areas under Thangmeiband constituency which fall under the jurisdiction of Kangla Water Treatment Plant until the construction work is completed.

As such, the EE urged the consumers to understand the temporary inconvenience caused by the work done in the interest of the people.
