AMESCO distributes Eid-ul-Zuha gifts

Ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Zuha festival, which falls on June 7, an advance gifts distribution programme for Muslims of Kwakta was held at Kwakta Bazar multipurpose hall on Thursday.
The event was jointly organised by All Manipur Ethnical Socio Cultural Organisation (AMESCO), Meipak Ningthou Committee (MNC), Anjuman Islah-E-Muashrah, Jamiat Ulama, All Kwakta,Youth Volunteer Organisation (AKY-VO), All Meitei Pangal Youth Association (AMPYA) and All Kwakta Co-Ordinating Committee (AKCOC) to strengthen the fraternal bond among the indigenous communities, promote corpmunal harmony and pray for peace and normalcy.
The event was attended by AMESCO president Chinglemba Wahengbam, advisor IB Luwang, former president Beni Chiru; Islah Uddin Qasmi and Abdus Salam of Sadar Jamiat Ul Ulama, Kwakta, Kwakta Municipal Council chairperson Minarjan, AIM president Abdul Kalam, AMPYA president Hafujuddin, advisor Jia, AKYVO general secretary Md Hanif, AKCOC chief advisor Md Anwar Ali, Zeliangrong Youth Front former chairman Nanda Kamei, Moirang College Department of Political Science assistant professor Md Rafijuddin Shah, MNC convener Arshad Baseimayum and AMMPACO president Md Hayatur Rahman as presidium members.
