Imphal, May 03 2025:
Rashtriya Swayam-sevak Sangh (RSS), Manipur Pranta, organised a 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg-2025 training camp with the valedictory programme held on Wednesday at the Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Skill Development Centre (RBSDC), Haraorou, in Imphal East district.
According to a statement from RSS Manipur Pranta, a total of 71 trainees from Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Senapati, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, and Jiribam districts attended the annual camp.
Open to participants under 40 years of age, the training was conducted in line with RSS' core mission of "man-making and character-building", aiming to nurture dedicated workers committed to national service.
The camp included Saririk (physical activities) and Boudhik (intellectual sessions), designed to instil discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Highlight of the programme was the Matrubhojan, where 53 families of swayamsevaks brought home cooked food and served the trainees.
The closing ceremony was attended by Ningombam Irabanta Singh as chief guest and RSS Assam Kshetra karyawah Khwairakpam Rajen as resource person.
Senior karyakartas from the Assam Kshetra, divisional and district units of RSS Manipur Pranta, and members from like-minded organisations, businesses, and academia were also present on the occasion.
Rajen noted RSS' unbroken unity since its formation in 1925 and its growing presence across the country, attributing its strength to selfless service.
Irabanta praised the discipline and spirit of sacrifice of swayam sevaks, citing their unwavering composure during a rainstorm at a past RSS event, the statement added.
