Yuva JDU expands with new members

Imphal, July 02 2024: Yuva JDU Manipur has welcomed over 50 youths from Thoubal Leishangthem into its ranks.

Led by its president Bhaktaraj Thiyam, the organisation celebrated induction of these new members as a pivotal moment in their efforts to engage and empower the youth of the state.

A statement of Yuva JDU informed that its president expressed optimism about the positive impact these young minds will bring to both the organisation and the wider community.

During the induction ceremony, Bhaktaraj emphasised the role of youth in shaping the future of the state and importance of active participation in political and social spheres to drive meaningful change, highlighting issues such as education, employment, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

Following the ceremony, a discussion session provided a platform for the new members to voice their concerns and ideas.

Bhaktaraj also announced conduct of free medical camp in Thoubal Leishangthem to address healthcare needs of the local residents, the statement added.
