Tree plantation drive carried out at Tangjeng

Imphal, June 01 2024: Under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO), Kakching District United Clubs Organisation (KADUCO) in association with Kakching Range Thoubal Forest Division along with volunteers of KADUCO's branch offices, Eight Star United Clubs Organisation and Kha Meigei United Clubs Organisation organised a tree plantation drive at Tangjeng Khunou Maning Ching on Saturday, in connection with the observance of World Environment Day.

The drive was participated by AMUCO secretary organisation Laishram Krish-nachandra; assistant secretaries (organisation) Y Inaocha, T Shantikumar, H Shamu, Ch Lukuma; Kakching Range Forest officer Laishram Dinesh and staff; KADUCO president Ch Chaoba, general secretary T Lucky and other members.

In all, 800 tree saplings were planted during the drive, wherein a resolution was also adopted to continue planting trees in all open spaces of the hill.
