Help sought for kidney patient

At 28, life is slowly and gradually falling away for Elangbam Sanathoi Singh, the sole bread earner of his family.
He is presently undergoing treatment for failure of both kidneys at JNIMS.
Sanathoi alias Nganba s/o late Elangbam Lokeshwor Singh of Khangabok Part III in Thoubal district had been taking care of his family of three as driver of a private vehicle operating in between Thoubal and Imphal.
He lost both parents at the age of 10 years.
Since he was diagnosed with kidney failure, Sanathoi has been admitted to JNIMS Nephrology Ward (Bed no 28).Neither does he have enough money for treatment nor for feeding his family, wife and two children.
He has a son reading in class IV and a daughter of class I.Speaking to reporters in this regard at Khangabok Leipat Citizens' Club, Sanathoi's wife Sushila informed that his parents had left him no asset other than the small house where they are living presently.
As Sanathoi was the only earner of the family, they do not have any money for the treatment, she said while fervently appealing to all concerned to provide assistance in whatever way possible.
Meanwhile, Leipat Citizens' Club joint secretary Ningthoujam Rabi Meetei said that both parents of Sanathoi died around 15 years back and he has been trying is best to make both ends meet.
He also appealed to all to provide financial assistance to the family to help in meeting the medical expenses required for treatment of Sanathoi.
