Experience sharing programme held at Raj Bhavan

As a part of National Integration Tour, 2025, a Students' Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) programme was organised at Raj Bhavan here on Friday.
A release issued by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) state office secretary Napoleon Laishram informed that the event was attended by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla as chief guest, with special presence of ABVP North-East zonal organising secretary Kamal Nayan and SEIL Manipur in-charge Deepak Ningombam as guest of honour.
The SEIL initiative, led by ABVP is a unique platform fostering national integration, cultural exchange, and unity among students from different regions of India.

It aims to bridge the geographical and cultural divide by allowing students to experience and understand the diverse traditions, lifestyles, and heritage of various states, he continued, adding that this year, 39 delegates from various communities of Manipur participated in the National Integration Tour, which spanned from January 23 to February 13, 2025.The students travelled across different states, immersing themselves in diverse cultural experiences and learning about the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat".
Addressing the gathering, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla expressed his appreciation for ABVP and SEIL for organising such a remarkable tour.
He encouraged students to explore different parts of India, stating, ' Experiencing the diversity of our nation first-hand is the best way to foster unity and brotherhood.
Initiatives like SEIL are instrumental in shaping the youth, into responsible citizens who uphold the integrity of the nation".
During the programme, Deepak Ningombam highlighted the significance of the tour in promoting national unity and emotional integration.
He emphasised that SEIL plays a crucial role in strengthening the bond between the North-East and the rest of the country, fostering mutual respect and understanding.
The highlight of the event was the experience-sharing session by the delegates, where students from different tour groups narrated their experiences, cultural learning, and the friendships they built during the journey.
They spoke about how the tour transformed their perspectives, helping them break stereotypes and develop a deeper appreciation for the cultural fabric of India.
