Imphal, September 25 2024: Kakching district administration has announced successful placement of 15 students in the hospitality sector in major cities like Bangalore, Gur-gaon, and Chennai.

In a release, Kakching deputy commissioner Rohit Anand informed that these students, who underwent rigorous 10-week training programme specialising in food and beverage services, have now secured employment opportunities in top tier establishments within the hospitality industry.

The training was conducted by an expert trainer from New Delhi, provided by Primero Skills & Training Private Limited, ensuring the participants received the highest quality skill development.

The programme was part of an initiative led with the valuable support of Justice Geeta Mittal, whose involvement has been instrumental in empowering the youth of Kakching, the said.

Rohit Anand pledged district administration's commitment to foster employment'and skill development among young people in the region.

"This successful placement is just the beginning.

Plans are already in motion for a second batch of training, provided more interested participants come forward to seize this opportunity," he said.
