Sapamcha Kangleipal appointed RPI-A state secretary

Imphal, August 22 2024: Sapamcha Kangleipak who contested the last state assembly election from Lamlai assembly constituency, has been appointed as state secretary of RPI-A.A reception function was organised for him at the party 's Keishampat office here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, RPI-A national secretary Maheshwar Thounaojam pledged to work in the spirit of a regional party even though the party is a national party and an ally of NDA.

The party will work towards ensuring the aspirations of the people of the state and the welfare of the indigenous communities deviating from the general trend of national parties working under the directives of national leaders.

Meanwhile, Kangleipal confided that he joined the party recognising the contribution of Maheshwar Thounaojam in highlighting the current crisis in the state.

He emphasised on choosing the right approach in the current situation in order to secure a better future for the state and its people.
