MU hosts mega health camp, competitions

Imphal, January 17 2025: As a part of APHICON North-East II awareness campaign, Association of Healthcare Provider-India Manipur Chapter and Manipur University (MU) jointly organised mega health camp and competitions including extempore speech, painting and essay writing on the theme 'Impact of climate change on human health' at Manipur University Health Centre on Friday.

In his address during inauguration of daylong programme, MU vice chancellor Prof N Lokendra, who also inspected the health camp, commended APHICON for organising the mega health camp and competitions in the university having 6000 students, and proposed that such programmes be conducted twice every six months.

Approximately 500 individuals, who attended the health camp were examined by eye, ENT, orthopaedics, and psychiatry medical professionals.
