Interaction programme on job in Japan held

Bishnupur, July 07 2024:
An awareness and interaction programme, organised by Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission, Bishnupur in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and international stakeholders, highlighted excellent job opportunities in hotel manage ment, hospitality, and healthcare sectors in Japan was held at Panchayat Resource Centre of New Mini Secretariat Complex here on Sunday.
The function was attended by Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission director N Bandana Devi, Bishnupur ADM H Bobby Sharma, National Skill Development Corporation International state engagement officer Masotmi Zimik A and Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission district mission manager Amarjit Singh.
Speaking at the programme, N Bandana-opined that the interaction programme would benefit educated youths in Manipur, especially in the absence of industries capable of creating employment opportunities.
She encouraged them to seize the joint initiative of the Indian and Japanese governments.
MSRLM Bishnupur district coordinator Thokchom Sonia, who was also present at the programme, urged the educated youths to make the most of the opportunity provided by government institutions.
