Thoubal literary body announces award winners

Imphal, October 06 2024: Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal, on Sun day announced winners of its biennial literary award, presented in honour of authors for their significant contributions to Manipuri literature.

Shamurailatpam Shantibala Devi will receive the Ningombam Pramodini Ningshing Sahitya Mana for her poetry book 'Leimarembee Ei', Nongmaithem Kirankumar will be honoured with the Akoijam Chaoton and Rajkumari Muktasana Manipuri Sahitya Mana for his translation Work 'Leishabee Macha Amagi Dairy', Keithellakpam London would be conferred the Oja Akoijam Bijoy Manipuri Sahitya Mana for his book 'Amanba Hi', and ES Sundar the Akoijam Ongbi Binodini Ningshing Sahitya Mana for his storybook '71gee Nganu Thanggong' .

Thiyam Yekendra will receive the Akoijam Ongbi Shija Ningshing Sahitya Mana for his book 'Einstein', and Khwairakpam Sunita the Akoijam Ongbi Shyama Ningshing Sahitya Mana for her drama book 'Tabununggee Liklu' .

Lastly, Thabatombi Ngangbam will receive the Leishanthem Ongbi Ahanbi Devi Ningshing Mana for her book 'Punsigee Atiya' .
