Meditation stressed for positive thoughts

Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai unit of Brahma Kumaris, Manipur organised 'Addiction-free Manipur' campaign on the theme 'Brain Rewire For Unlimited Happiness' at the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Lamphelpat hall on Wednesday.
The campaign was attended by Shija Hospitals and Research Institute chairman and managing director Dr Kh Palin as chief guest, IMA Manipur president Prof RK Lenin Singh as president, GB Pant Institute, New Delhi associate professor Dr Swapan Gupta as special guest, and MU Mathematics Department associate professor Dr Khuman Anthony Singh as guest of honour.
Speaking at the campaign, Dr Palin highlighted the importance of meditation in calming the nerves and cultivating positive thoughts as Dr RK Lenin stressed that in a state like Manipur, which is facing unrest situation, regular meditation will help overcome negative thoughts with positive thoughts, thereby bringing about a better society and world.
