Imphal, April 28 2026:
In an undated video that has gone viral on social media, a group of suspected Kuki militants have been seen raising questions to Assam Rifles personnel at an unknown location.
Where this video clip was taken and when could not be independently confirmed by The Sangai Express but it goes a long way in giving weight to the allegations of Indian security forces supping with Kuki militants.
Already this particular video clip has gone viral on the social media.
Some of the militants are clearly visiblely armed with rifles with "red ribbons" on the muzzle.
Snippets of some things said by the Assam Rifles personnel under pressure include - "We will speak with high command", "You are telling us to fire, but there is no use", "We will be pressured by higher ups" and "Nothing will happen to Kukis, you guys are safe here" .
One of the militants call up somebody he addresses as "Sir" and after a conversation highlighting their complaints, he hands the phone over to an Assam Rifles personnel.
Another suspected militant is heard saying in the background "We have very good guns" .
Throughout the video, the militants are also heard complaining about Army vehicles allegedly hitting their women and raising suspicion that Assam Rifles are colluding with Arambai Tenggol and Meiteis and "entering their boundary" from Moreh side.
The video ends with a light laughter between the two groups, suggesting that perhaps such conversations and meetings are not unique.
