Stop hobnobbing with militants : SDSA to AR

The Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has accused Assam Rifles of escorting militants in Naga areas during ungodly hours.
Addressing the media in this regard at SDSA office, Saloni Tony, president of the association, claimed that their officials witnessed Assam Rifles and militants working hand in gloves in Senapati on February 22 (wee hours) .
Condemning the alleged collaboration between Assam Rifles and militants in Senapati, which has been relatively peaceful, he asked whether the Assam Rifles was planning to create confusion and mistrust among the people.
Questioning the intention of the Director General of the Assam Rifles for inviting top Kuki militant leaders for a dialogue amidst the challenging times, he urged the paramilitary force to not take sides with any armed groups and expedite the peace process in the State.
