The Mapari Ningsingkol Lup, (MANIL) paid fitting tributes to Dr Th Kishan, Y Token and A Rajen on their 7th death anniversary function held today near Cheirap Court, Uripok.

Late Dr Kishan was a very energetic and dynamic son of the State.
His contributions to the State could have brought huge changes.
It is a huge loss that his life was cut short.
A few days back, the Chief Ministers of Nagaland and Mizoram were spewing venom which may create conflict among the different communities in the State.
"We should understand that different ethnic groups and communities both in hills and valley share fraternal relationships since time immemorial", he added.
Dr Lokendro remarked that organising a blood donation camp under the joint aegis of MANIL and RIMS blood bank on the death anniversary of Dr Kishan, Y Token and A Rajen was quite appropriate.
Further he said that people should come forward and donate blood to save life.
A healthy person can donate blood once in every three months, he said.
'Punsi Sheireng' a poetry collection written by Heikrujam Shyamsundar was released on the occasion.
People who were present for the gathering paid floral tributes to the three departed souls.
