INC's Alfred Kanngam S Arthur secured 3,84,954 to beat his closest rival Kachui Timothy Zimik of NPF who secured 2,99,536.Veikhang Katamnao Long (VKL) Ukhrul, Tangkhul Naga Valley Students' Association (TNVSA) and Tangkhul Katamnao Long (TKL) Delhi, in separate statements Congratulated Alfred Kanngam Arthur and said his leadership will surely make a positive impact on the lives of the people.

"May you continue to strive for the betterment of the Nagas in particular and the State in general, and represent with integrity and passion," wished the Tangkhul Naga Valley Students' Association.
