They demanded that the wanted tag and the reward of Rs 5 lakh for information leading to his arrest should be revoked by the State Govt.

President of Poirei Leimarol L Memchoubi told media persons that the allegations against Ratan is nothing but to derail the ongoing pro-ILP movement of the people.
The news report from certain national media without verifying the authenticity of the post circulated through social media is regrettable.
Such tactics from reputed media houses will not deter the cause of Manipuri people, she added.
She further demanded that the State Govt should find out who and why such posts and comments were made as they are defamatory and amount to cyber crime.
President of AMKIL Ph Sakhi alleged that the incident must be a handiwork of the Indian Govt and State Govt to dilute the pro-ILP movement which has gained enough momentum to achieve the goal.
If Ratan is to be arrested, all leaders of women organizations based in Manipur should also be arrested, she said.
And if anything happens to him (Ratan), people will launch series of protest and the State Govt should have a clear picture of people's intention.
On the other hand Thokchom Ramani demanded that the allegations against Ratan should be clarified by the authorities concerned and the wanted tag on him should be removed.
