Imphal, March 29 2025: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has deeply mourned the demise of one each cadre of PREPAK-Pro and KYKL during a gun-battle along the Manipur-Myanmar border on March 25 .

In a condolence message, the RPF said Lt Angom Sanatomba alias Ingo, 37, of KYKL from Phayeng Mayai Leikai and Lance Corporal Maibam Naotonba alias Naatngakpa Meetei, 18, of PREPAK (Pro) from Serou Makha Leikai made supreme sacrifices for the revolutionary cause.

The RPF and its armed wing the People's Liberation Army (PLA) also conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, relatives and comrades of the fallen cadres.

Honouring the fallen revolutionaries, the party maintained that their sacrifices would be remembered as a guiding force in the struggle for Manipur's sovereignty.
