Cong, MLAs greet on Kang

Imphal, June 26 2025: Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), and BJP MLAs Y khemchand and Th Satyabrata have extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Kang - Ratha Yatra - which falls on Friday.

In their messages, MPCC president Keisham Meghachandra, Khemchand and Satyabrata conveyed that Kang/Ratha Yatra is more than just a religious festival; it is a reflection of shared culture, faith and unity.

"As the sacred chariot of Lord Jagannath rolls through the streets, we are reminded of the deep bond that connects communities and values of harmony, humility and devotion that have guided us for generations," read the messages, praying to Lord Jagannath for restoration of peace and normalcy in the state and to strengthen the sense of brotherhood among different communities living in Manipur.
