Children's Festival draws over 10,000 kids in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, January 18 2025:
The 4th Children's Festival of the Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC), held under the theme "Children for Christ, No Child Left Out, commenced on Saturday, drawing over 10,000 young attendees here at the Mini Stadium, Tamenglong district headquarters.
Organised by the Christian Education and Literature Department, the three-day event is being hosted by the Town Baptist Church, Tamenglong.
The festival features Reverend Dr Daisok Panmei, senior pastor of Miami Baptist Church, USA, and Fiona Goimei, founder of CATCH Ministry, Tamenglong, as the main speakers.

The programme includes a range of activities such as gospel sharing, talent showcases, choreography, musical performances by various artists, and a remarkable choral rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus performed by over 1,000 children from churches across Tamenglong town.
Additionally, a 1,000-strong ensemble of guitars and ukuleles captivated the audience.
Over 10,000 children from 120 churches in Manipur and Assam are participating in the festival.
Dignitaries, including the local MLA, the deputy commissioner of Tamenglong, and other senior bureaucrats, delivered inspirational messages to the gathered children.
The festival will conclude on January 19, 2025 .
