Har Ghar Tiranga campaign held across state

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, BJP Lamlai Mandal led by local MLA Kh Ibomcha launched a cleanliness drive at Nongada Kameng Pureiromba Laipham, on Monday.
In continuation of the campaign, cleanlinessdrives will be held on Sunday and Monday, observe Patriots' Day on August 13 and hoist the tricolour at residences on August 14 .
NONEY: In the run up to the Independence Day celebration, Noney district administration kicked off Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Sharon English High School, Longmai Bazar on Monday.
As part of the programme, Tiranga Rally/Yatra was taken out by students at Longmai Common Ground Complex.
Speaking to media persons, Noney deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Sharath Chandra Arroju informed that several activities will be carried out by line departments and schools/colleges in all the blocks across the district.
Mentioning that a Tiranga Bike rally will also be held in Noney in collaboration with Longmai Nature Club, he appealed to the Noney denizens to hoist the National Flag on top of their houses and reaffirm the nationalism spirit.
BISHNUPUR: In connection with Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a bike rally jointly organised by BJP Manipur Yuva Morcha and BJP District Yuva Morcha Bishnupur under the aegis of BJP Manipur Pradesh, was flagged off by works minister Govindas Konthoujam on Monday.
The rally which started from Indian Peace Memorial, Maibam Lotpa Ching under Nambol assembly constituency passed through Nambol, Oinam.
Bishnupur, Moirang, Thanga and Kumbi ACs before winding up at INA Complex, Moirang.
The event was also attended by LDA chairman Asnikumar Moirangthem, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president Minabanta, Bishnupur District general secretary Heisnam Iboyaima, district president RK Bimola, Manipur Har Ghar Tiranga state in-charge P Premananda, State Yuva Morcha's Thokchom Chandramani, and District Yuva Morcha president Moirangthem Boboi, among others.
On the other hand, a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Tiranga Yatra organised by Bishnupur district administration under the theme 'Viksit Bharat ka Mantra Bharat Ho Nasha Se Swatan -tra' was flagged off by DC L Bikram from New Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur on Monday.
The rally was participated by students and teachers of Bishnupur Higher Secondary School along with Bishnupur ADM H Bobby Sharma, ZEO N Chingkhei, district social welfare officer N Jotish and other district level officers.
KAKCHING: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the district administration flagged off a Tiranga Yatra marathon from the DC Office Complex, Kakching on Monday.
The marathon flagged off by DC Rohit Anand was participated by 143 students including 30 girls from Irengband High School, Kakching Khunou Makha High School, Kakching Modei High School, JRD Pathseekers' Academy, Padma Ratna English School, Kakching Higher Secondary School and MMS Genius Academy.
The participants raced up to Kakching Sumak Leikai before returning to the starting point where a 'Tiranga' pledge was also taken.
In girl's category, RK Malemnganbi (Class IX) of Kakching Higher Secondary School secured the first position followed by Oinam Albina Devi (Class VIII) of MMS Genius Academy in second and Sapam Abenao Devi (Class IX) of JRD Pathseekers Academy in third position.
The boy's category of the marathon was won by Naorem Rajen Singh (Class XI) of Kakching Higher Secondary School while Thingnam Gattakumar Singh (Class IX) of Kakching Khunou Government High School finished second and Sougaijam Malemnganba Singh (Class XII) of Kakching Higher Secondary School came third.
Prizes of the marathon competition will be distributed on August 15 .
