World No Tobacco Day observed

Imphal, June 11 2024: Sangai Youth Tobacco Free and Educational Organisation (SYTFEO), in association with District Tobacco Control Cell, Imphal East, and Centre of the Zonal Education Officer Zone-2 observed World No Tobacco Day 2024 under the theme 'Protecting Children from Tobacco Industry Interference' at the office of ZEO Zone-2 located at Porompat in Imphal East district on Tuesday.

SYTFEO managing director Dr S Bimolakumari (Padmashri), NTCP, DHS Imphal East district nodal officer Dr Ningombam Sanjay, ZEO Zone-2 M Premchandra and SYTFEO president Premjit Thokchom spoke as resource persons at the event.

An interaction programme on 'Tobacco Free Educational Institutions' was also held as part of the observance function.
