Memo to MLA demands completion of projects

Kakching, April 09 2025: All Kakching Clubs' Coordinating Committee has submitted a memorandum to MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar, urging for early completion of ongoing development projects in Kakching assembly constituency.

The Committee, a conglomerate of 18 clubs and organisations under Kakching Municipal area, submitted the memorandum on April 7 .

The document contained resolutions adopted at the committee's meeting held on March 31 .

The demands include urgent repairing of the Kha-Manipur College to Khongnang Mari Phangba, Kakching Khunyai Leikai to Irengband, Kakching Keithel Macha to Shengrong, Shengrong to Angaan Ching, and Kakching Lourel roads.

The committee also called for completion of other long-pending projects such as renovation of the District Sports Association (DSA), Kakching playground, construction of District Hospital, Kakching Water Supply Scheme and proper repairing of roads using Paver Block Technology.

Additionally, the committee urged the MLA to address the issue of water scarcity residents generally face during the dry season.

In response, MLA Rameshwar assured the committee that their demands would be fulfilled at the earliest.
