LEIKOL observes 103rd birth anniv of MK Binodini

Imphal, February 06 2025: Leimarol Khorjeikol (LEIKOL) observed the 103rd birth anniversary of Maharajkumari Binodini at Dosuyali hall located at Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai on Thursday.

The birth anniversary observance was attended by singer Chongtham Kamala as chief guest, LEIKOL president Kshetrimayum Subadani as president, and MU Department of English and Cultural Studies former head Th Ratankumar as speaker.

Delivering the presidential speech, Ksh Subadani praised MK Binodini as one of the most exceptional female writers.

Her literary works are of immense value, she added.

Stating that MK Binodini gave soul to LEIKOL, an organisation of female writers, Subadani continued that LEIKOL will continue to organise programmes dedicated to three pioneer female writers - Binodini, Pramodini and Thoibi.
