Muivah is doing well, says NSCN-IM

Dimapur, August 02 2025: Amid intense discouraging speculations on the health status of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) general secretary (Ato Kilonser) Thuingaleng Muivah, the organisation has clarified Saturday evening that the Naga leader "is doing well" and will be discharged soon from the hospital where he is being admitted in Dimapur.

NSCN-IM said, through a statement, that it has taken note of the viral news on social media about the health issues of the organisation s general secretary Th Muivah.

"This is unfortunate as such unfounded news was posted without fact checking," the statement said.

Yesterday, according to the NSCN-IM, Muivah went through a bout of mild cold and dehydration and was hospitalised in the Referral Hospital in Dimapur.

"There's nothing serious as made to believe by the viral news", it added.

The statement then said, "He is doing well and will be released soon (from the hospital), and there is no cause for concern about his health" .
