On completion of one year of its establishment, around 500 volunteers of Langsai Thouna and representatives of clubs and organisations of.
Kakching and surrounding areas sought blessings by performing rituals at the sacred site of Ibudhou Khamlangba here on Tuesday.
Langsai Thouna convever Rajiv Kshetrimayum told media persons on the sidelines of the event that the organisation was formed to unify and shield the Meetei community.
He asserted that as Meetei, Naga and Muslim, known as Meitei-Pangal, communities are settling in Manipur since time immemorial, refugee Kukis should give up the agenda of distorting Manipur.
He informed that the roster duty being carried out by the local clubs at Kakching Lamkhai for eight hours daily will continue till all the Meeteis displaced from Moreh, Churachandpur and other places and taking shelter in 32 relief camps in Kakching district return to their respective houses.
