Imphal, October 31 2024: Arambai Tenggol Unit 18 has issued a clarification over allegation of assaulting and robbing two Poumai Naga civilians on Wednesday while terming the accusation as unfounded.

In a statement, the AT unit informed that it received information of two vehicles along with two persons detained in an area under its operational jurisdiction, based on which some volunteers went and tried to establish identity of the detained persons, subsequently established as V Hrangao Blesson of Kodom Khullen and Dalou of Liyai Khullen, both belonging to Poumai Naga.

Informing that the two were not assaulted as alleged but released promptly, the statement also maintained that allegation of robbing money and assaulting the two are not related with Arambai Tenggol but carried out by KCP (Ibungo Ngangom) group as per their knowledge.
