Imphal, August 30 2024: Skill, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department in coordination with Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) of Ministry of Labour & Employment organised a one-day awareness programme on 'Employees' State Insurance Scheme' at Government Industrial Training Institute, Takyel on Friday.

Joint secretary (skill, labour, employment & entrepreneurship) Hanna Kamei and ESIC, Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO), Gurugram deputy director Sunny Kushwaha attended the inaugural session of the training programme as presidium members.

In his speech, Sunny Kushwaha emphasised that benefits of ESI scheme should be made known clearly to proprietors, employees and workers so that they could avail benefits of the scheme fully.

He also appealed to the participants to make use of the opportunity.
