Imphal, August 28 2024: There is no security department in JNIMS and accordingly the state-owned medical institute has no connection whatsoever with the advertisement issued for security recruitment, stated JNIMS director.

According to a statement issued by JNIMS director professor L Usharani, a person named Yaiphaba Maimom claiming to be security director in-charge of JNIMS security department issued a fake advertisement for recruitment of security personnel using social media platforms like facebook and whatsapp.

However, there is no security department at JNIMS and the advertisement is unrelated with JNIMS authority in any manner, the state ment said and appealed public not to entertain such fake advertisements.
