Imphal, June 26 2025: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Utlou, Bishnupur district subject matter specialist (horticulture) Dr Pangeijam Bijaya Devi was presented with the Best KVK Professional Award 2024-25, during the 9th foundation day celebration of ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute ATARI) Zone-VII at Umiam, Meghalaya on Wednesday.

The award presented by Meghalaya Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare minister Dr M Amparin Lindoh, recognised Dr P Bijaya's continuous efforts for the welfare of farmers of Bishnupur district including successful delivery of agricultural technology and extension service benefits of ICAR, CAU, SAU and line departments The celebration was also attended by Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat VC Dr BC Deka, ICAR New Delhi assistant director general Dr RR Burman, ICAR Atari Zone-VII director Dr AK Mohanty, ICAR-RC NEH Umiam director Dr S Gha-tak, Meghalaya agriculture director JC Lyngdoh, NA-BARD general manager JR Balah and ICAR Atari ex-director Dr AK Tripathi.
