RPF celebrates 46th Raising Day at base camps, in state

Imphal, February 25 2025: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) celebrated its 46th Raising Day on Tuesday at different units, departments and stations of both the Front and its military wing People's Liberation Army (PLA) located in Manipur and outside.

According a RPF statement, the 46th Raising Day was com memorated with display of flags, festoons and stars together with the people in areas and divisions of RPF's central bureau.

Highlights of the celebration at all venues included events honouring the party's flag and paying homage to martyred revolutionaries and also reading of the acting president's message to the people delivered on the occasion, informed the RPF statement issued by deputy secretary of publicity Roben Khuman, who then called upon all the indigenous communities of Manipur to unite and live together with harmony.

The RPF raising day was also celebrated at different places of Imphal East district on Tuesday with suspected RPF members and supporters putting up festoons, banners and stars of the party while cadres of People's Liberation Army (PLA) reportedly paid fitting tributes to martyred revolutionaries at a Raising Day event held in an undisclosed location in the district.
