Uripok stir demands terrorist tag to Kuki outfits

Imphal, November 24 2024: The relay hunger strike organised by Uripok Apunba Lup and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup at Uripok canteen crossing demanding arrest of Kuki militants involved in killing of six innocents at Jiribam and designating all Kuki organisations as terrorist organisations, completed the ninth day on Sunday.

The ninth day had menfolk of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai staging the protest in the morning, after which residents of Laikhulembi, Panchai Maning, Khaidem Leikai and internally displaced persons staying in relief camps carried on the protest in the afternoon with meira paibi activists, club members and public of Iroisemba joining the agitation from the evening hours.
