Imphal, February 23 2025: A one-day Peace Convention cum 'Kanglei Mapari Award' presentation function was organised by Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organization (KMWO) at Lilong Haoreibi College hall on Sunday.

The programme held under the theme "Unity among Different Communities to Safeguard Manipur and Preserve the Bond of Blood", was attended by Lilong Haoreibi College principal professor Md A Sattar Shah, Angom Poireiton of Angom Ningthou Uttra Shanglen Sana Konung, L Sanoi College political science assistant professor Ningombam Shreema Devi, Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong GP Zilla Parishad Syed Abdul Hashim(Amu),

GP chairperson Sheikh Yunush Khan, Maibon Phaomei of Zeliangrong United Committee, Manipur Federal Organisation (MFO) president Boboi Korimayum and Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organisation (KMWO) president MD Nasir Khan as presidium members.

On the occasion, FOCS Manipur president Th Manihar, Meitei - Pangal Egi Khonggul Liba Foundation Committee Manipur president BM Yaima Shah, Meitei Cheingak Meitrapak president Nongthombam Sanahal Singh, HERICOUN general secretary Aheibam Anand, CCSK general secretary L Jayenta and DIET, Kakching former principal K Radhakanta Singh were honoured with the "Kanglei Mapari Award" for their significant contributions for welfare of the people.
