Imphal, October 22 2024: Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony to honour candidates from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts who successfully cleared the Agniveer recruitment process.

A press release issued by PRO IGAR (South) informed that the initiative was aimed at recognising the exceptional efforts of the young individuals who have shown immense dedication and determination to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.

Assam Rifles proyided crucial support to the local aspirants during the pre recruitment phase offering guidance and mentorship.

The training proved vital for the youth with three of the trainees clearing the written tests and two of them further clearing physicals and finally getting selected, it added.
