Imphal, October 16 2024: Gulapi Nata Sankirtana Academy, Kwakeithel Nganapi Thong organised the 31st Guru Kirtana Seva-2024 (Festival of Nata Sankirtana) at the premises of the academy on Wednesday.

The event was attended by JNMDA former director Dilip Mayengbam as chief guest, theatre and cultural activist Loitongbam Brajamohon Singh as president and Sahitya Akademi awardee Saratchand Thiyam as guest of honour.

The highlights of the event included presentation of the Guru Khwairakpam Leibakmacha Singh award to translator and critic Laishram Memo Singh and the Oja Khwairakpam Wangkhei Singh award to Manipur University assistant professor Dr Meikam Thoiba Singh and performance of Sanaton Sanga by artistes of the Academy.
